    Austin will be giving birth to a new comic inspired art showcase named "The Austin Nerd Cave" on Sunday, January 15th at Tribe Comics And Games! All are invited to come out and celebrate it's birth into the new year by meeting some local artists of comics, games and all other things nerd. Hosted by Jen Hearts Art and Racketeer Robot to bring Austin closer to its local nerd talent for an awesome Sunday of creative art in a COMIC SHOP! (what better place??). So be there for comics, artists displaying mad visuals, vendors rocking comic and toy related merch, and live sketching! WHO are these SICK artists joining forces to build this "The Austin Nerd Cave", you ask? Check the list, YO!:

Come out to CherryWood CoffeeHouse  Saturday on 9/10 and check out what we put together for our Nerdcore fans of Austin. Austin's Nerdcore artist Damp Heat and Racketeer Robot's Doug Funnie will be performing live on stage with local creative design vendors like Butter Sword the webcomic, Bright Eyed Birdie Creations, Jen Hearts Art, Jess of Hotline Design Ink, Jamie of Hole in the Wall Design and us at RackRobo set up in the crowd. We even added Sever Reiley the tarot card reader to come out and plan on adding even more to the show by Sat.! The venue is the best part of the event. CherryWood has great food AND great beer on tap. So come out to the FREE event and rock out with your nerd out with all of us next Saturday! Show starts @ 8pm and music starts @ 9 pm.

That's right. The Halloween Man himself invited Racketeer Robot to come out and set up a table at the Summer Shock Hop. The event is for a great cause benefiting Kids in the Groove. There will be five hot bands, an even HOTTER pin-up contest, dancing, and creative local vendors (like your boys at RackRobo), all for five bucks!
The event will be @ Flamingo Cantina on Sat. Aug. 27th
