Spreading the art and word of Racketeer Robot once again with body painting! This time we were able to hook some girls up with cool paint on a party boat event hosted by PALS out of Cedar Park this past Friday. PALS put on a great event with a couple live DJs, an onsite masseuse, body painting of course, food and drinks, and a sold out crowd. Everyone was great and the water was very necessary that very hot day. Check out the slide show below to see what RackRobo was able to work with and let us know what you think with a comment!
The other night we were able to meet another cool artist that runs his own printed tee project from San Marcos. He introduced us to his way of networking with other artists through his sketch book by having Shane cover a fresh page for him. Flipping through his book we noticed a few other good pieces sketched up by artists from all over. So now the book is ready to hit the rest of the world and let people know the Racketeer Robot has good stuff coming!
The three pics below show a three part break down of how to draw like a racketeering robot:
Step 1: Draw the main bad ass part.
Step 2: Add more little bad ass parts to the main bad ass part.
Step 3: Finish it off by not leaving a square inch of the page without awesomeness.
The past two weekends Shane has been styling the women of Austin with some Racketeer Robot art in the form of body painting. Even though our main goal with RackRobo is to design and sell custom graphic T-shirts we can still hook it up with cool designs for those that choose not to wear a shirt. Here are a few pics to prove it. The Madison on 5th was a great place for it and we look forward to getting Shane more gigs there. We always get to meet fun girls that enjoy having our style of art in a big way across their body or sometimes just in a small way on just their arm or leg... We hook it up for all! So look out for us in downtown Austin when you're out having fun this weekend and give us a shout.
<--Shane putting that "action-comic" twist on things.
<--After each girl was painted there was no doubt which ones were painted by that dude Shane.
<--See what I mean? Can't mistake that style.
That is what's cool about the experience we have had at the Madison so far though. All the other painters have a different style from each other coming from different backgrounds of art.
<--It's hard for the design to not look good from the start considering the "canvas" being used. All girls were great.
^At the end of the night we were able to make a "girls just getting back from Vegas party" happy with a little arm art with Shane and I being able to take part in the picture.
